1/2 year old!

     Holy crap.  It's hard to believe that my little baby is 6 months old. Seriously? Her personality is showing more and more each day and I love to see what she will do next.  At this point, Tenley is currently:

-Sitting up alone

-Starting to reach to mommy and daddy

-Have stranger anxiety (secretly love this)

-Eating solids twice a day (morning and evening)








-Bathing "big girl" style in our bath tub.

-Holding her bottle

-Babbling "da-da-da-da-da"

-Found herself in the mirror (acts like she wants to fight herself)

-Rolling over both ways (only when she wants to)

-Kissing my cheek while rubbing the other side (absolutely heart melting)

     So, because she is 6 months, is it too early to start planning her 1st  birthday? I started off by buying her a birthday cd. ok, let me explain.... This cd is for kids and it says her name in it! How often am I going to find something that says her name?? "hey tenley, it's your birthday!".  Yep, put that in my shopping cart please. If anyone is interested, http://www.captainzoom.com/. Justin's mom played this for him every year for his birthday and I want to do that same for her. so excited to get this in the mail! Really, I am only wanting to plan ahead because we have such an expensive summer coming up-- 2 weddings and 2 for sure vacations...possibly 3. Those are around Tenley's birthday so, if I can start early-I'm going to :)
