Tenley's Birthday! Yes, it's a tad late...

Ok, right now I am not mother of the year, but I swear I will make up for it. Let's recap a little:

Tenley turned 1 (I cant believe it!) on July 31st.  My sweet little 7lbs 3oz-er is now a 21 lb toddler.  Full of personality and such a sweet little girl.  I mean, she is truly such a sweet heart.  Always giving hugs and kisses.  These days Tenley is now:

-WALKING!  She started toddling around at 11 months and has been full force ever since then.  I love watching her learn how to overcome her walking obstacles.
-Still only saying da-da and ma-ma.  Not sure if she knows what ma-ma means yet, but we're getting there!
-Feeding herself and enjoying it.  Her favorite food by far is fruit.  She would pass up a chocolate cake over fruit any day.  So not like her mother.
-Taking only one bottle at night.  I could cut it out if I wanted, but to be honest I love feeding her and so does Justin.  That time with her is so relaxing, it's hard to give it up.  I will, though. **sobbb**
-She loves mickey mouse and the hot dog dance.  I like doing it with her because she thinks it's "cool". I think lol.
-She is now wearing size 18 months in clothes and size 3-4 in shoes.  Still in size 3 diapers however, I could move her up to size 4.

Now onto her birthday party.  What a great turn out it was.  I think about 80 people came (I know, right?) and stayed pretty much the whole time.  I had tons of food...probably a little too much, but everyone ate well.  Center pieces turned out cute as ever and the kids loved their party favors.  Here are just a few birthday pics. ;)

Love our family :)

She loves her baby dolls.

Make your own hot dog station

These were the party favors for the kids.

The cupcake's had butterflies, worms and lady bugs.  The oreos were considered the "dirt"

Food including: Hot dogs (toppings were: Coney sauce, onion, cheese, sauerkraut and coleslaw), baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, fruit spears, corn bread, zucchini bread, jello (for the kids) and of course cupcakes.  Drinks were water, lemonade and pink lemonade.

Big step for Tenley.  She's not a huge fan of water, but she enjoyed herself. :)

:)

Also, I am going to include some of my favorite pictures from her one year photo shoot. :)

Hope you enjoyed the picture dump.  She is beautiful and I cna't wait to see what the upcoming years holds for her and our family.  I honestly never imagined we would have such a sweet girl.  We are beyond blessed and I am so excited that we get to give her a brother or sister!  What a great big sister she will be.  We love you so much Tenley...more than you will ever know.
